为丰富校园文化生活，创新语言学习形式，打破课堂学习的局限，4月13日晚，英语桥俱乐部成功举办“萌宠手工坊”双语交流活动。本次活动融合英语口语交流与手工创作，以宠物经济为主题，为同学们搭建沉浸式英语实践平台，让大家在趣味实践中锻炼口语能力、拓宽知识视野。
On the evening of 13th April, the English Bridge Club successfully held the themed event "Adorable Pet Workshop". Combining oral English practice with handmade creation and focusing on the pet economy, the event built an immersive English practice platform for students, enabling them to exercise their oral English skills and broaden their horizons in interesting practical activities.
活动伊始，主办方围绕宠物经济开展双语分享交流，聚焦全球宠物市场发展趋势、行业新业态及养宠文化等热点内容。通过主题视频学习积累英语词汇，结合互动问答环节引导同学们主动开口表达，用英文分享自身对宠物文化与行业发展的见解，有效锻炼了大家的英语口语表达与思辨能力，营造出轻松融洽的全英文交流氛围。
At the beginning of the event, the organizer carried out bilingual sharing and communication centering on the pet economy, focusing on hot topics such as the development trend of the global pet market, new industry formats and pet-raising culture. Students accumulated English vocabulary through themed video learning, and took the initiative to express their views on pet culture and industry development in English through interactive Q&A sessions, which effectively exercised their oral English expression and critical thinking abilities and created a relaxed and harmonious all-English communication atmosphere.
随后进入萌宠手工创作环节，俱乐部准备了扭扭棒等各类彩色手工材料，供同学们自由创作。大家充分发挥想象力与创造力，亲手制作小狗、小蛇等造型可爱的萌宠手工作品，每一件作品都独具创意、充满巧思。创作过程中，同学们相互交流创作思路，主动用英语描述作品设计理念与创作灵感，将语言学习融入手工实践，实现了学以致用、寓学于乐，让枯燥的语言学习变得生动有趣。
Then came the pet handmade creation session. The club prepared various colorful handmade materials such as chenille stems for students to create freely. Giving full play to their imagination and creativity, students made lovely pet works such as puppies and snakes by hand, with each work unique and creative. During the creation process, students exchanged creative ideas and took the initiative to describe their design concepts and inspiration in English, integrating language learning into handmade practice, realizing learning for application and pleasure, and making dull language learning vivid and interesting.
本次活动将英语学习与手工美育有机结合，形式新颖、内容丰富，既帮助同学们舒缓课业压力、收获创作乐趣，又有效提升了口语实战能力，加深了对新兴行业文化的认知，丰富了校园课余生活。未来，英语桥俱乐部将继续秉持“让语言，不止于课堂”的理念，推出更多趣味十足、实用性强的双语主题活动，为广大热爱英语与生活的同学提供优质的交流实践平台，助力大家在多元实践中不断成长。
